The Beast from the East and Travel Insurance

The recent inclement weather in the UK and Europe has shown why it is incredibly important to have Corporate Travel Insurance in place to protect your client’s business and employees. With excessive delays reported across mainland Europe, thousands of flight cancellations and multiple airport closures, thousands of travellers have been delayed or stranded as a result of the snow.

Whilst EU law compels airlines to provide compensation and assistance to passengers who suffer delays, it may not cover the full loss or provide suitable accommodation in the event that travellers are stranded abroad.

Pulse’s Corporate Travel Insurance provides coverage for trip cancellation, including non-refundable travel and accommodation expenses, additional accommodation costs incurred as a result of being unable to travel and further costs incurred to return home when pre-booked travel arrangements have been cancelled.

With the delays and cancellations lasting much of the last week the costs involved mount up quickly, can your client’s business afford not to have full coverage for these unforeseen events?
