Coronavirus – Advice for Travellers

The World Health Organisation have now declared the Coronavirus outbreak to be a Public Health Emergency. More cases are expected and travel disruption is anticipated as measures are put in place to curb the spread of the disease.

We advise travellers to keep up to date with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s travel advice which can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

In the event of a trip having to be cancelled clients should approach the airline and accommodation providers in the first instance. If the trip was booked prior to FCO advice changing your travel insurance may respond for any losses not recoverable from your providers. Trips should not be booked to areas where the now FCO advise against travel.

Our assistance provider Healix has also provided some information for travellers regarding the outbreak: https://healix.com/sharing-knowledge-and-news/coronavirus/

We will also provide updates on this page as the situation develops.
