Are you covered for the summer?

With the peak summer holiday season almost upon us, it is important to ensure you have adequate cover in place to protect you and your family whilst abroad. Here at Pulse we have a number of solutions to ensure your summer holiday will not end up costing you in the event of a medical emergency or unforeseen cancellation.

The majority of our Corporate Travel policies automatically include leisure travel for company directors and their spouses or partners and dependent children. We can also extend the cover to senior management or all employees if required. Corporate travel policies include a much wider wording when compared to most off the shelf travel policies as well as higher sums insured for medical expenses, baggage, personal accident and cancellation.

Alongside our corporate offering we can offer policies for families and individuals via our partners at Policy Direct. Cover is available for annual multi trip policies, single trips or long stays and be purchased by anyone domiciled within the European Union.

Both policy types can include leisure activities such as scuba diving, bungee jumping, cycle touring and winter sports. Cover can also be provided for pre-existing medical conditions.

In 2016 travel insurers paid out £199m* to travellers who needed emergency medical treatment whilst they were abroad, and whilst most claims average out at just over £700, more complex treatment or accidents that require repatriation to the UK, could cost in excess of £211,000.

So, don’t put your family at risk this summer, contact Pulse directly or ask your broker to enquire about our travel insurance products.
