Pulse January News: New deal to transact EU business and Leisure Travel Update

Pulse announce deal with Classic Financial Solutions which enables us to transact EU and EEA based risks

It is a New Year but, unfortunately, whilst we can see light at the end of the tunnel, there is still a way to go before we are through these very difficult and challenging times.

In the meanwhile, we wanted to reassure you that we are still committed to doing whatever we can to help you and your customers.

First, let’s talk about Brexit.  Whilst we have been dealing with the pandemic, we have also had to consider how we will deal with the additional requirements for transacting European business.  I am delighted to confirm that since the start of January, Pulse’s European business is being transacted through our Brussels based business, Classic Financial Solutions (CFS), which enables us to transact EU and EEA based risks.   More details are in the news items here and here.

What it means is that we have a fully compliant solution for EU and EEA risks using both Lloyd’s and non-Lloyd’s capacity.  We do not have quite the same range of solutions for the EU and EEA as in the UK currently, but we are continuing to develop these solutions. Get in touch with your usual contact and we can talk you through the options available.
