Life Insurance Mental Health

The Mental Health Foundation has made this week’s theme the experience of loneliness and its effect on our mental health. A side effect of the Covid epidemic and the isolation that has accompanied it, is the increase in loneliness. The Foundation has been tracking and observing “ the increased levels of distress, resulting from people’s sense of isolation and reduced ability to connect with others”. In short a side effect of the pandemic has been the disruption of people’s ability to lead a normal life.

And normal life includes financial planning of which Life Insurance can be a key part.

The mission of Pulse is to enable people to obtain Life Insurance when they cannot get the cover they require from the standard market. If Mental Health is causing the problem it is always worth contacting us to see if we can assist. This is worth doing even if cover has been declined or postponed. We are here to fill the gap. We cannot help in every case but we have achieved success in providing Life Insurance where mental health is an issue even in challenging circumstances where, for instance, there has been a history of self harm or even suicide attempts. Every case is looked at individually and in these cases we will be looking for signs of stability in for example, employment and or relationships.
