Hazardous Occupations/Areas of Conflict
With an increasing amount of occupations located in areas of conflict, such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, Pulse are pleased to offer life cover in politically unstable countries, or for individuals with hazardous occupations such as Close Protection, Security Escorts, Onboard Marine Security, employees located offshore manning Oil Rigs, Diving/Exploration Equipment and Geologists. We have also been able to assist Missionaries and Volunteers involved in the rebuilding of communities following war, natural disaster and conflict.
Our product provides a combination of;
Cover can be taken as a combination of the two, providing cover from all eventualities or separately, depending on the clients requirements. This combination of cover offers the same benefits as ‘life insurance’, with the exception of suicide.
The Natural Causes Cover provides protection from death caused by illness, such as Heart Attacks, Cancer or Stroke. Underwriters will determine whether cover can be provided immediately or whether medical evidence will be required, on receipt of a satisfactorily completed application form.
The Personal Accident plan is available swiftly following completion of a simple application form. Often we find our clients travel at very short notice and have even been known to complete applications in the departure lounge! This provides peace of mind, without complication or fuss at a time of urgency and need. The cover includes war and terrorism, excluding chemical, nuclear and biological warfare. The plan can also include benefits which will cover injuries such as loss of limb, loss of sight, or an inability to work due to an accident or Illness. Cover is easily renewed subject to a short written statement or Declaration of Health. Both products have the security of Lloyd’s of London.
